Rant on so called 'unblack metal' bands..

First of all, i would like to defy the term unblack metal..
Unblack metal (also known as holy unblack metal or Christian black metal) is a term used to describe black metal artists whose lyrics and imagery promote Christianity.
These bands actually came about during the Second Wave of Black Metal, mainly from Norway..
Now, what comes to our mind when we hear about black metal??
Most of us would say maybe screamed vocals, fast strumming guitars and drums, Satanism, church burnings, murders etc.. (anything bad)

So let us first look at a prominent black metal band, Mayhem..
The band was formed in 1984 in Oslo, Norway..
This band has kinda been considered the most notorious of all black metal bands..
Its lead vocalist, Per Yngve Ohlin (aka Dead) was well known for wearing clothes which were buried for weeks prior to a performance..
He was a person whow as obsessed with death..
He would also carry around a dead crow wherever he went..
Before any performance, he would even smell the crow to 'fill his lungs with the scent of death'.
He would also cut himself with hunting knives and broken glass..
The band would also have pig and sheep heads impaled on stakes and planted at the front of their stage..

Then on 8 April 1991, Dead committed suicide in the house owned by the band. He was found by Euronymous(guitarist and vocalist) with slit wrists and a shotgun round to the head. Instead of calling the police, Euronymous went to a nearby store and bought a disposable camera to photograph the corpse, after re-arranging some items. One of these photographs was later stolen and used as the cover of a bootleg live album entitled Dawn of the Black Hearts. Eventually, rumors surfaced that Euronymous made a stew with pieces of Dead's brain, and made necklaces with fragments of Dead's skull. The band later stated that the former rumor was false, but the latter was true. Additionally, Euronymous claimed to have given these necklaces to musicians he deemed worthy.
To coincide with the release of the album, Euronymous and Vikernes(Burzum) had conspired to blow up Nidaros Cathedral, which appears on the album cover.
On 10 August 1993, Varg Vikernes murdered guitarist Euronymous. On that night, Vikernes and Snorre Ruch travelled from Bergen to Euronymous’s apartment in Oslo. Upon their arrival a confrontation began, which ended when Vikernes fatally stabbed Euronymous. His body was found outside the apartment with twenty-three cut wounds – two to the head, five to the neck, and sixteen to the back. Vikernes claims that Euronymous had plotted to torture him to death and videotape the event.

So see for yourself the true colour of black metal..
And these so called unblack metal artistes are claiming to produce black metal with holy lyrics??
Cmon.. Music was made purely for worship.. Can 'music' with hardly any melody worship God??
Besides, why do these unblack metal artistes have to wear corpse paint??
We were made in the image of God..
If they are truly believers, they would surely know that God did not intend for us to look like dead people..
God breathed life into us and they want to look like dead people??

Another unblack metal band, Drottnar, emphasizes on nihilistic and cold atmosphere..

Vaakevandring, another one of those unblack metal bands, had their EPs produced by Stian Aarstad of Dimmu Borgir which is one of those symphonic black metal bands..

Furthermore, the bands also usually use dark imagery on their album covers etc which traditional black metal artistes use..

Judge urself..
Claiming to be Christian and singing Christian songs does not make anyone christian..
I believe these bands do more evil than goodness of their spiritual lyrics..
They depict darkness, which is opposite of Christianity..
Jesus is usually symbolized as a dove, fire etc..
A dove is white, not black..
A fire is bright, not dark..
So i hope this article has helped us understand one of the any ways Satan is trying to influence the young generation during the end times..
